What can I do and store in my Mancave?
Upper Midwest Mancaves provides an expansive space to store items, work on your boat, toys, and hobbies, store business inventory, and even entertain friends.
What are common things people store?
Boats, Cars, Trucks, Campers, RVs, Motorcycles, Fish Houses, ATVs, Snowmobiles, Golf Carts, Bikes, Tractors, Skidsteers, Trailers, Lawn Equipment, Snow Blowers and Plow Trucks, Furniture, Tools, and more!
Can I do woodworking in my Mancave?
Yes, many people enjoy working on their favorite hobbies in this climate-controlled space with your own private bathroom, floor drain, large 14′ X 14′ door, 16′ Sidewalls, 120V, 240V, and 50 Amp outlets.
Do the Mancaves have internet access?
All mancaves are pre-wired for internet access. Just ask us for local provider’s contact information and within no time you can be surfing the web and streaming TV and Radio.
Can I stay overnight in my Mancave?
No overnight stays are allowed.
Can I store items outside?
No outside storage is permitted. All personal belongings must be stored in your mancave.
What are some items I cannot store in my Mancave?
Anything that may be injurious to the premises or to people on property. No explosives, highly flammable items, no toxic or hazardous items.
Can I do business out of my Mancave?
Storing equipment, and inventory, using it as an office, or working on equipment is permitted. No storefronts or client/office environments allowed.
How do I know my belongings will be secure?
We have outdoor security cameras and a well-lit outdoor property. Every mancave has lockable doors with a keypad and the only windows in the unit are on the upper panels of the garage door. We suggest renters purchase personal property insurance as our insurance does not cover your personal or business items. You’re welcome to add your own security cameras to the inside of your unit as well.
What kind of heating and air conditioning does each unit have?
Each unit has in-floor heat and a mini split for air conditioning.
Do I pay a flat fee for electricity and heat?
No, all units are individually metered. We check meters and bill you monthly just off of what you use. We do require all units to stay at a minimum temperature of 50 degrees to maintain proper care of the building.
Can I entertain friends and family at my Mancave?
Yes, no outside overnight parking, and quiet hours are 10 pm – 7 am.
